He was predeceased by: his mother Kathleen Landreville; his parents-in-law, Marvin "Coot" Higginbotham and Gloria Hendon (Donald Bettis); and his sister-in-law Marvine H. Brown. He is survived by: his wife Kristal Ann Schroeder; his pet Casper; his father Richard Schroeder (Karen) of Moyock, NC; his mother-in-law Charlotte Higginbotham of Elberton, GA; his stepfather-in-law Henry Hendon; his siblings, Rick Schroeder (Wendy), Mike Schroeder (Lisa), Marijane Kernosky (Pete), Vickie Freeman, Angela Segars (Buck), Kathie Brown (Randall), Jason Bettis, Dirk Bettis and Ricky Brown; his aunt Marilu Black; his uncle Larry Harper (Lavera); and his friends, Dave Bauman, Lance Cooper and Freedom Celebration Church. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services (247 N Tyndall Pkwy, Panama City, FL 32404). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38015, a cause close to their hearts.
