He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Eugene Sowell and Elizabeth Chavers Sowell; and his wife Iris Cain Sowell. He is survived by: his children, Dan Sowell (Cheryl) and Susan Sowell; and his granddaughter Casey Clark (James).
