He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Glass and Rhodie Glass; his sons, Rodney Harlan Glass and Virgil Austin Glass; and his siblings, James Glass, Kenneth Glass, Rev. Ronnie Glass, Dorothy Hinkle, Wanda Crader and Glenda Eaton.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Miller Glass; his sons, Derrick Glass (Annie (Beth)) and Edwin Glass; his grandchildren, Jason Glass, Jeremy Glass (Elyse), Brian Glass, Wesley Glass and Briana Glass; his brother Rev. Donnie Glass (Danna); and his sisters-in-law, Lottie Glass and Sarah Glass. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
