She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mahoney and Twila Mahoney; her son Brian Lee McConnell; her husband James Edward Frederick; and her sister Sarah Ruth Rizer.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, Georgia Leigh Broussard, Melissa Rizer Masinter and Aaron Michael Rizer; and her stepchildren, James Aaron Frederick and April Michelle Williams. She is also survived by her grandchildren and her great-nephew.
