She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace McKnight and Earline Taylor McKnight; her son Richard Hale; her siblings, Carol Broxson, Marlene Emanuel, Sandy Childers, Kay McKnight, James McKnight and Jack McKnight; her former husband Cecil Hale Jr.; her husband Billy Haddan; and her daughter-in-law Pam Lowe.

She is survived by: her children, Cecilia Cotty (Herb), Dennis Hale and Jeff Hale (Donna); her grandchildren, Jeffery Hale (Rachel), Justin Hale (Haley), Kaylee Hale, Cecily Hale, Chip Vickers, Chad Reno and Sawyer Hale; her great grandchildren, Levi Hale, Cora Hale and Sage Hale; her sisters, Connie Adams (Robert) and Darlene Beauchamp (Greg); and her close friends, Linnie Nell Adams Burgess, Carolyn Ward Richards, Betty Brooks, Jackie Green and Ferrie Southerland.
