In the sacred silence of farewell, Gary is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Gary's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Louise Swanson Marsh; and his wife Corinda Pitts Marsh. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Kim O'Connell and Jim Prater, Jr. (Nitaya); his grandchildren, Andy Prater, Alex Prater, Katie O'Connell and Michael O'Connell; and his niece Cynthia Gunn (Michael).
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made in Gary's honor to Donna Waddell (The Downtown Pet Salon) for her continued efforts rescuing, providing medical treatment for, rehabilitating, and rehoming the many stray and abandoned dogs and cats in the local area.
