With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Eugene Thorpe (Panama City, Florida), who passed away on January 22, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Perry Thorpe and Rosabele Thorpe; his wife Linda Thorpe; his children, Tammy Martinez (David), Deneen Appleton, Rusty Thorpe (Terry) and Ty Thorpe (Jessica); his grandchildren, Michael Martinez (Kayla), Cory Thorpe (Sarah), Nicholas Martinez, Makaira Fuller and Reece Thorpe; his great grandchildren, Abram Martinez, Andruw Thorpe and Otto Martinez; and his siblings, Barbara Wilson, Patricia Mistric, Donald Thorpe (Barbara), William Thorpe (Iva), Randall Thorpe and Bruce Thorpe (Janet). He was also cherished by three aunts; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Hospital.
