She was predeceased by: her son José L. Lassalle; her parents, Juana Figueroa and Jorge Oquendo; her siblings, Carmen Oquendo, Nereida Oquendo, Georgina Oquendo, Vitito Oquendo, Samuel Oquendo and Efrain Oquendo; and her great-nephew Andy Janda.
She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Lassalle (Ivan Velazquez); her grandchildren, Adrian Velazquez, Marisol Velazquez and Angelica Velazquez; her son Jonah Lassalle; her sister Zaida Oquendo; and her daughter-in-law Frances Pagán. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
