She was predeceased by: her sisters, Esther Smith and Glenda Mercer; and her nephew Dannie Glenn Smtih. She is survived by: her sons, David and Hal Newman; her sister Marilyn Pendley Pauls; and her sibling's children, Vicki Stovall, Leslie Tally, Kay Howard, Tom Mercer, Stan Pendley and Tim Mercer. She is also survived by her parents and husband.
