She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Miller and Louise Miller; and her husband Jerry Sowell, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Gretchen Scaperotta (Joe), Jerry Sowell, Jr. (Mary) and Mark Sowell; her grandchildren, Jerry Sowell III (Nicole), Matthew Sowell (Katie), Rachel Scaperotta (Ray Zarand), Joseph Scaperotta (Amanda), Marshall Sowell and Justine Sowell; her great grandchild Madeline Sowell; and her siblings, Rudolph Miller (Carol) and Diane Robbins. She is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the St. Andrews Baptist Medical Clinic where Helen enjoyed volunteering. Or, to a charity of your choice.
