With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Marie Phillips of Panama City, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 20, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Lee and Ida Lee; her sister Helene Joyce; her son Nicholas; and her husband Nicholas Ciccarelli.

She is survived by: her sister Shirlee Bodfield; and her children, Joseph (Sandy), Victoria (Crook Stewart), Richard (Linda), George (Tammy) and James "Himme" Phillips. She is also survived by grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

“In loving memory of Joan Marie Phillips, With deepest sympathies. For many years, until Hurricane Michael, Joan played beautiful music in our St. Dominic Handchime Choir. She participated in all our choir events at nursing homes and assisted living facilities and left an indelible mark on all she encountered. We will miss Joan sorely, her shining smile and positive attitude, regardless of the situation.”
