She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Darvin Tapley and Niecy Brasher Tapley; and her sister Rose Parker. She is survived by: her husband Eugene Poe; her son Michael Poe; her daughter-in-law Karen; and her great grandchildren, Grayson Reed Todd, Ellie Ruth Todd and Collins Monroe Todd.
Joyce was an animal lover and frequently made donations to the St Joseph Bay Humane Society in Port St Joe, Florida.
