Leola Hanson Obituary
Leola Hanson was born to George F. Delk & Fannie Vinning Delk in May of 1935. She worked as a nurse for many years, was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and a volunteer for Bay medical hospice group. Leola worked in Gainesville FL for HRS and retired because of many health conditions. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church since coming to Panama City in 1995, Leola loved people and animals.
She has 9 children: Billy Jean , Cassandra Hale, Edward Fernandez, Debbie Lewis, Clark Fernandez, Polly Keller, Melissa Herring, Phobe Fernandez, and Teresa Adams; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had 2 brothers and 2 sisters.Paul Delk, Denver, CO and Bruce Delk, Hommerville, GA, Myrtle Moore Adams of Valdosta GA and Mary Nobles of Charleston, SC.
Asked to serve as Pallbearers are Jeramey Martin (Grandson), Brandon Martin (Grandson), Paul Delk (brother), Edward Fernandez (Son), Chuck Burnett and Wayne Naramore (family).
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, September 13, 2021, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain David Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
She will be missed by everyone.
