He is survived by: his wife Edith Fay Gibson; his brother Tommy Gibson (Kae); his children, Laynetta Gibson, Vickie Achord (Nathaniel) and Kevin Gibson; and his stepchildren, Pamela Andrews (Gordon), Eddie Pitts (Karen), Freddie Pitts (Sabrina) and Tanya Griner (Mike). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
