He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen DeVall and Esther DeVall (Wilson); his wife Nancy DeVall; his siblings, Denzil, Ronald, Doris and Orpha; and his son Jeffrey.

He is survived by: his sons, Brett, Ben DeVall (Nancy) and Phillip Hollowell (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany, Bryce, Brytton and Braelyn; and his great grandchildren, Lauren, Andrew, Arlo, Luca and Charles.
