He was predeceased by: his parents, William Forrest and Carolyn Forrest; his wife Judy Gross Forrest; and his brother Neil Forrest. He is survived by: his children, John (Pam Forrest) of Tallahassee and Heather (Donnie Keck) of Jonesborough; and his grandchildren, Cole (Brittany Keck) of Athens and Taylor (Jesse Broughton) of Jonesborough. He is also survived by three great grandsons as well as several nieces and nephews.
