With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara Mathews Smith of Panama City, Florida, who passed away on March 14, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence W Mathews and Annie Mae Mathews; her husband David Smith; and her brother Tolbert Mathews. She is survived by : her daughters, Sheryl Knight (Thomas) of Brooklet, GA, Laura Tucker (Tommy) of Lynn Haven, FL and Helen Carter (Lance) of Port St. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Sara's memory may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
