Shirley David Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley David in Panama City, Florida, born in Cottonwood, Alabama, who passed away on May 15, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Tobe Hughes and Mary Ruth Collins Hughes; her mother-in-law Annie Mae David; her husband Clayton of Dothan, Alabama.; her son Michael David (Mike); her daughter-in-law Terry David; and her sister June Eddins.

She is survived by: her children, Pamela David and Sid David; her daughters-in-law, Jane David and Jill LeFils (Richard); her grandchildren, Dr. Rochelle David (Chatchawin Assanasen), Amy Harbeson (Brad), Michael David (Alexmar Ortiz-Rodriguez), Heather Brewer (Mike) and Holly Littlefield (Jamie); and her great grandchildren, Alexandra, Adrianna Assanasen, Asher, Delaney Harbeson, Sydney, Kaden Brewer, Ty, Bryce Littlefield, Mikayla David-Ortiz and Kamilah Velez-Ortiz.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Shirley's name to Forest Park Church.
