He is survived by: his wife Mammie Lou Sasser; his daughters, Teresa Hays-Heard (Ken Heard), Maryann Vaughan (Paul Vaughan) and Sherry Hays (Ronnie Adkins); his grandchildren, Steffon Roberts, DeLanna Roberts, Maria Vaughan, Jala Vaughan and Betty Vaughan; his great grandchildren, Ezria Curtis, Peyton Curtis and Lena Curtis; and his pet Tua.
Thomas Carilisle Hays, 83, of Panama City, Florida went to be with his Lord and Savior onWednesday, June 2, 2026, after a long battle with Lewy body disease and Parkinson's.
