He was predeceased by: his mother Marie Barker Pool; and his stepfather Joe Pool. He is survived by: his son Scott Hobbs (Pam); and his grandchildren, Brandi Crosby, Sloan Hobbs (Chelsey), Skyler Montgomery (Tyler) and Morgan Walker (Daniel). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home (2403 Harrison Ave, Panama City, FL 32405).
Wanting to bring awareness to the nonprofit organizations that his company continuously supported, in lieu of flowers, the family would like donations sent to the organization of their choice; Alaqua Animal Refuge, ARC of the Bay, Boys-n-Girls Club and Lids for Kids.
