He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil George and Annie Lou George; his wife Grace Lavina George; and his daughter Pamela George Parmer. He is survived by: his children, Traci Waldo (Jamie) and Ron George (Connie); his grandchildren, Brandi Walters (James), Julie George and Dara George; and his great grandchildren, Taylor Layne Walters, Trinity Lei Walters, Alice Isabelle Lyon and Natalia Marta Grace Jones. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
