She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Stehr and Gertrude Stehr. She is survived by: her husband Francisco Ruiz; her son Joshua Daniel Ruiz of Rockford, IL; and her siblings, Pete Stehr of Wisconsin, Henrietta Savage of Wisconsin and Monica Tackett of Tennessee.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Bayside Community Church (9505 Moccasin Wallow Rd, Palmetto, FL 34219).
