He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Westervelt and Edwin Westervelt. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Westervelt; his son Jay Robert Westervelt; his grandchildren, Taylor Morgan Shea and Bailey McKenna Westervelt; his sisters, Pat Wagnitz and Mary Huling; and his brothers-in-law, Roland Alan Trombley and Robert Harry Trombley. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Barry's memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
