It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Venecia Pena of Pembroke Pines, Florida, who passed away on April 30, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ignacio Peña. She is survived by: her sons, Frank and Alex; her daughters-in-law, Lucia and Jill; her grandchildren, Alex, Gianna, Dylan and A. J.; and her siblings, Socorro, Louisa, Josephine and Juan.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fred Hunter's Funeral Home (6301 Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33024). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery (630 Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33019).
