He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Miller; his mother LaMerle Baxter; and his brother Joe Baxter. He is survived by: his father Albert Hugh Baxter; his friend Dan Gale; his children, AC, Rebecca Black (Jeffery) of St. Augustine, Christopher Baxter (Charles) of Pensacola and Drew Baxter of Foley; his grandchildren, Shannon Martin, Max Black (Bethanie), Hugh "Huey" Baxter and Wallace "Ace" Baxter; and his sibling's children, Cindy Cotton (Mark) and Jay Baxter (Missy). He is also survived by his family as a loving, hands-on father, faithful husband.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
