She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Pierce Rideaux and George Montgomery; her pet Angel; her brother Marlon; and her aunts and uncles, Sally, Annie, Zedia, Magdeline, Seila, Robbie, George Delano, Jim, Chester, Joe Louis, Joe Malcolm, Enoch, James David and Farrar.

She is survived by: her pet Gypsy; her daughter Jasmine Marie Montgomery of Pensacola; her grandchildren, Crystal Alexander of Atlanta and Evan Alexander of Dallas; her siblings, Sandra Montgomery and Charles Montgomery of Pensacola; her uncle Solomon Pierce (Susan) of Georgia; her aunts, Gladys Harden of Pensacola, Doratha Pierce of Alabama and Lois Smith of Alabama; and her sister-in-law Mary Montgomery of Kentucky. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She continued to work as a CNA until a bout with "long covid" rendered her disabled.
