She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodis McWhite and Teretha Locklear; and her sister-in-law Lily Blankenship Locklear. She is survived by: her brother Willie Locklear of Pensacola, FL; her niece Sharon Kniesly (Dan) of Conyers, GA; her great-nieces and great-nephews, McKinley (Salena), Mitchell (Lindsey) and Marshall (Maria); and also, Reiya, Madison, Zoey, Josiah, Oscar, Marshall Jr., Marina and Alexa.

Visitation was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Music Funeral Services - Lakeland (88 W Main St, Lakeland, GA 31635). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Bryant Missionary Baptist Church (35 S. Mill Street, Lakeland, GA 31635).
