With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara O'Neill DeArmond of Pensacola, Florida, born in Burlington, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2025 at the age of 101. Though Barbara O'Neill may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara O'Neill touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Col. Velfort J. DeArmond, Jr.; and her son David Glynn DeArmond. She is survived by: her son Barry Michael DeArmond of Salem, OR. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
