He was predeceased by: his wife Olivia Katharine Coker; his parents, John Barrow Coker and Geraldine McRee Coker Wilson; and his brother John Frederick Coker. He is survived by: his sister Lee Anne Coker Burroughs (John); his nieces, Caroline Burroughs Murphy (Wes) and Emilee Burroughs Howell (Israel); his cousins, Libby Coker Maginness (Michael), Linda Coker, Linda McRee Feathers (Robert), Debbie McRee Peek (William) and Mary McRee Johnson; and his close friend Charlotte Collins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barry's memory to Scenic Hills Church of Christ.
