It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Brooks of Pensacola, Florida, born in Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 2, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father George C. Leaver; her husband Raymond C. Nuhfer; her former husband Charles G. Brooks; and her siblings, Mary C. Condie and Charles C. Leaver.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Emery (Gene) of Bow, NH, Barbara Henderson (Paul) of Pensacola, FL and Rev. David Nuhfer (Paulette) of Zanesville, OH; her grandchildren, Michelle Dunn (Shannon), Charity Jackson (Michael), Christopher Henderson, Jennifer Emery (Doug Penney), Chad Sherman and Michael Henderson; her great grandchildren, Joy Dunn, Sienna Jackson and Marleigh Jackson; and her sister-in-law Jackie Leaver. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her stepchildren.
