He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Frieda Nau Stafford; his siblings, Virginia Stafford Lake, Lois Stafford Saul, Evelyn Stafford Bell and John P. Stafford; and his wife Nancy Helman Stafford.
He is survived by: his sons, Bill III (Andrea), Don (Jane) and David (Kim); and his grandchildren, David Jr., Charlie, Kate, Sarah Grace, William IV and Nick. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Christ Episcopal Church (18 W Wright St, Pensacola, FL 32502).
