He is survived by: his wife Ruth Carnley Johns; his children, Nicole Johns Campanella, Ilaina Johns Burgess (Joe) and Nickolas Joseph Johns; his grandchildren, Emily, Caitlin, Marissa, Jamison and Brantley Joseph; his sister-in-law Dorothy Carnley Griggs; his nieces, Norma Nolen (Greg) and Tammy Butts (John); and his cousin Myra Potts Wamble (Larry).
