He was predeceased by: his parents, Houston Laverne Ledbetter and Kate Fair Ledbetter. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his siblings, Jerry Ledbetter and Gloria Tidwell; his sister-in-law Lynn Newsom (Steve); his children, Landon Simon (Patches), Tasha Simon and Terry Brooks; his stepchildren, Jeff Brown (Eva) and Meredith Brown; and his grandchildren, Chase, Brandie, Stephanie, Jamie, Kimberly, Fantasia, Jasmine, Dominic, Owen, Charlotte and Vivian.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ministry Village at Olive Baptist Church.
