He is survived by: his children, Melissa Bond (Joel Jr.) of Big Level, MS, Sharon Rigby (Jimmy Jr) of DeFuniak Springs, FL and Timothy Tharp of Pensacola, FL; his grandchildren, Naomi Fairley (Ethan), Nathan Bond, Sr. (Callie), Reuben Bond, Ruth Bond, Levi Bond, Joshua Rigby (Torri) of Samson, AL, Caleb Rigby, Adam Tharp of Pensacola, FL and Adriane Tharp; his great grandchildren, Nahtelie, Bethanie, Cole, Wayne Fairley, Charleene, Nathan Joel Jr., Evangeline Bond, Anna, Micah, Lily Beth Rigby and David Rigby; and his sister Joyce Ungerman (Mike) of Oviedo, FL.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Chapel Funeral Home South (100 Beverly Pkwy, Pensacola, FL 32505). A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Halls Creek Church Cemetery (7295 AL-113, Brewton, AL 36426).
