It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Sue Lapeyrouse of Pensacola, Florida, who passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Aaron J Lapeyrouse; her parents, James Griffin and Lois Griffin; and her brothers, Charles and Bobby Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Dodson Jr. (Max) and Michael Lapeyrouse (Joni); her grandchildren, Heather Dodson (John Davis), Brandon Dodson (Rayelle Walsh), Max Aaron Dodson (Brittney), Ashley Lapeyrouse and Kristin Teague (Dale); her great grandchildren, Karmella Dodson, Camden Dodson, Conner Dodson, Carter Dodson, Lincoln Dodson, Lucas Dodson, Declan Farrell, Dayton Dodson, Corey Singleton Jr., Kinsley Singleton, Kaylee Singleton, Katherine Davis, Khloe Davis and Kaleb Davis; and her sister Faye Bosarge. She is also survived by many other family members and many good friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heritage Funeral Home (9721 MS-63, Moss Point, MS 39562). A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Machpelah Cemetery (Pascagoula, MS 39567).
