He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Aplin and Lula Aplin; his brother Johnny Aplin; his nephew Little Jimmy Aplin; his great-nephew Hayes Griffin; his aunt Debra Aplin; and his uncle Woody Roley.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bobby Aplin, Jody Aplin (Amy), Sambo Aplin (Shay), Jimmy Aplin, Sonny Aplin, Jackie Harris (Terry), Pat Jackson, Debbie Ard and Susie Springer. He is also survived by 21 nieces and nephews; 33 great nieces and nephews; 14 great great nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Trahan Family Funeral Home (60 Industrial Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32503). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
