We bid farewell to Charles Emanuel Durbin Sr. of Pensacola, Florida, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 16, 2025 at the age of 82. Charles touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis L. Durbin, Sr. and Anna Lena Durbin. He is survived by: his wife Carol Riley Durbin of Joliet; his children, Chuck, Jeff (Jeanne), Kevin and Angie Johnson (Chris); and his grandchildren, Chelsey, Riley, Kirstyn, Kelsey and Nathan of Pensacola. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home (1985 W 9 Mile Rd, Pensacola, FL 32534). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Barrancas National Cemetery (1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508).
