He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Greg Sessions (Terri), Kim Brown (Greg) and Ken Sessions; his grandchildren, Chloe Lynam (Josh) and Brandon Sessions (Autumn); his stepgrandchildren, Greg Brown (Jennifer) and Kirsten Brown (Dan Marzano); and his siblings, Jerry Sessions (Rita), Glenda Stephens, Sandra Kirkland (Fred), Sharon Collum (Archie) and Margaret Grubb.
He was recognized as the inaugural Pace Pioneer by the Pace Chamber of Commerce in 2004 for his contributions to his hometown.
