She was predeceased by: her husband Willie Simon; her parents, Monroe Dinkins and Edith Robins Dinkins; her brother Monroe Dinkins, Jr.; and her nephew David Dinkins.
She is survived by: her children, Isha'nae Alexis Dinkins (Aaron) and Jordan Monroe Dinkins; her grandson Jameire Dinkins; and her siblings, Altomeaze Britman, Tommy L. Dinkins (Shirley), Edward Dinkins (Diane), Marylyn Holmes and Sammie L. Holmes. She is also survived by four Nieces, nine Nephews, 28 grandnieces & nephews and 5 great grandnieces & nephews, numerous cousins, and friends.
