She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Carter and Hannah Carter; her husband John Quincy Armstrong; her children, Dorothy Jean Knight and Charles Morris Sr.; her grandchildren, Charles Morris, Jr. (Chuck), James Morgan and Tameka Campbell; and her great-niece Monique Wilborn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lorene Carter, Betty Campbell, Jewel Mims (Willie), Alfreda Morris, Flora Armstrong, Vickey Armstrong, Delisa Armstrong, Anita Hill (Deacon Victor) and Phyllis Armstrong. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and 32 great-great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
