He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. William Alonzo Adams, Jr. and Jean Elizabeth Cary Adams; and his grandchildren, Allison Delaney Walker and William Emerson Adams. He is survived by: his wife Patty; his children, Elizabeth Walker (Dexter), Bill Adams (Kendra) and John Adams; and his sisters, Jenny Taylor and Patty Fyke (Robert). He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
