He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earl and Della White Griffis; and his brothers, Robert Griffis, Billy Griffis and Marty Griffis.
He is survived by: his brother Rodney Griffis of Century, Florida; his sister-in-law Angie Baggett of Flomaton, Alabama; his aunt Jean Clark of Century, Florida; his sibling's children, Mandy Griffis Odom (David) of Century, Brandy Gafford (Jamie) of Century, Florida and Josh Griffis of Century, Florida; his great-niece Kaitlin (Gafford); and his great-nephews, Kaden Odom, Easten Odom and Keaten Odom. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews.
