He was predeceased by: his parents, Easther Smith and Russel Smith. He is survived by: his children, Donald Smith Jr. (Tamara Smith) and Pamela Matthews (Jimmy Matthews); his grandchildren, Brian Matthews, Chris Matthews, Savana Gardner, Shannon Matthews-Flores and Jamie Matthews; his great grandchildren, Taylor, Trinity, Kaydence, Payton, Jaxon and Wyatt; and his significant other Peggy Arthur.
