She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilary H. Jernigan and Bernice D. Jernigan; and her brothers, John Jernigan, Richard Jernigan and Tony Jernigan.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Moody; her sons, Tommy Moody and Danny Moody (Jayme); and her granddaughter Delaney Moody. She is also survived by her family, dedication to her children.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (7433 Pine Forest Rd, Pensacola, FL 32526). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Perdido Bay Baptist Church (12600 Sorrento Rd, Pensacola, FL 32507). A burial was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Barrancas National Cemetery (1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508).
