She was predeceased by: her parents, Dee Albritton and Fannie Albritton; her husband Norman A. Simmons; her daughter Vickie L. Simmons Ward; her grandson Jonathan F. Seaton; her siblings, Alice Cook and Samuel Albritton; and her half-brother Dee Albritton.
She is survived by: her daughter Shari; her sons-in-law, David Seaton of Fort Walton Beach and Clifford Ward of Pensacola; her grandsons, Adam Ward (Miranda Pinney Ward) of Alabama, Joshua Ward (Julie) of Oklahoma and Matthew Seaton; her great grandchildren, Kingston Ward of Alabama and Alexander Seaton of Pensacola; and her sister Amelia Myrick of Mississippi. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home (1985 W 9 Mile Rd, Pensacola, FL 32534). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens (1985 W 9 Mile Rd, Pensacola, FL 32534).
