She was predeceased by: her husband John B. Hicks Jr.; her brothers, James C. Dupree (Sarah) and Emmett Carroll Dupree (Rachel); and her niece Elizabeth C. Johnson. She is survived by: her stepsons, John Boyd Hicks III (Tammy) and Kenneth Hicks of Tifton, GA; and her siblings, Thomas Legrande Dupree (Wanda) of Lafayette, GA and Denise Dukes (Michael) of Pensacola. She is also survived by 4 step grandchildren and several beloved nieces and nephews.
