He was predeceased by: his father Columbus Washington; his wife Cloy Faye McCurley; his mother Millie Lee Gunter Brewer; his siblings, Emma Louise Lisco Mixon, Edna Leola Thompson Crow, Robert Brewer, Roy Brewer, Albert Brewer, James Oliver Brewer, Edward Brewer and Wilbert Brewer; and his granddaughters, Genevieve Brewer and Kathryn Dethlene Brewer.
He is survived by: his children, George Michael Brewer (Virginia) of University Place, WA, Sharon Faye Mandel (Robert Keating) of Pensacola, FL and Kathryn Renee Cox (Greg) of Cantonment, FL; his grandchildren, Julia Jeanette Bojanowski, Katelyn Renee Lisenby, Robert James Keating Mandel, Christopher Ryan Mandel and Margaret Faye Morgan; and his great grandchildren, Jayce Collin Latzer, Jacquelyn Joyce Bojanowski and Paisley Grace Lisenby. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
