She was predeceased by: her parents, Fletcher Armstrong Blalock and Gera Maxine Blalock; her brother Fletcher Albert Blalock; her stepsiblings, Fletcher E. Blalock and Mary Potts; and her stepdaughter Jennifer Kee.

She is survived by: her husband Ramon Taylor; her daughters, Jodi Odon (Chris), Jaami Clement, Lauren Powell (Sheldon), Victoria "Tori" Siddall (Justin) and Mallori Clement; her stepdaughter Faith Rindahl (Dion); her sister Linda Cagle; her grandchildren, Nila Somalia, Joaquin Palacio, Lucia Palacio and Nehemiah "Neo" Powell; and her stepgrandchildren, Destiny Manager, Kira Cordell, Janessa Weatherly, Payton Lawson, Austin Drake and Courtney Sivesind. She is also survived by many other nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends.
