We announce the death of Geraldine McGuire of Pensacola, Florida, who passed away on August 29, 2026, at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Helms and Nelle Helms; her stepmother Erna Howard; her husband Paul McGuire Sr.; and her sisters, Helen McLeod, Mildred "Mick" Miller, Virginia "Ginny" Deering, Bernadine Randall Wicklein and Jean Claiborn.
She is survived by: her children, Stephanie "Stevie" Dodd and Paul McGuire, Jr.; her granddaughter Kim Yennie (Chaz Yennie); and her great grandchild Alexandra Mortallaro. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Ray County or Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter.
