She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Thomsen and Charlotte Thomsen; and her sister Susan Cargile. She is survived by: her children, Cari Shaw (Eric) of Pensacola, FL and Scott Meigs (Lanie) of Jacksonville, FL; her stepdaughter Dana Galloway (Judy) of Iberia, LA; her grandchildren, Austin Shaw (Tony) of Orlando, FL, Lindsey Torgersen (Reid) of Pensacola, FL and Morgan Meigs of Jacksonville, FL; her great grandchild Virginia Glenn Torgersen; and her niece Amanda Gallagher (Jason) of Chandler, AZ.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel (2276 Airport Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32504).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Glennis' memory to the Parkinson's Foundation or the Pensacola Humane Society.
